1. Before registration. What do you need to do?

If you have never taken a course at the CPNL, before registering we need to know your level: You have two options to determine your level of Catalan:
You can now request your placement test or provide your Catalan certificate, either online (on the registration platform) or in person at the nearest centre. The deadline to do so is until 19 March (included). |

Course search
The CPNL will open a new call for higher-level courses (C2) during September 2026.

If you have not been a CPNL student, you must know your level before registering.
What do you need to do?
- By providing a level certificate. Check the equivalences in recognized Catalan acreditations.
- Take a level test.
Where can you do it?
- Online or in person at a Language Normalization Center.
When can you do it?
- Until March 19, 2026 (inclusive).
Notice
- The level assessment (submitting the certificate or requesting the test) is a mandatory procedure and does not guarantee a place, as this will depend on availability at the time of registration.
- The result of a level test does not operate to certify you knowledge of the language.
- A level test is valid for two years.
- In case you request the level test once the enrollment has started, we will only be able to manage it depending on the availability of the schedule.

When can you enrol?
There are two enrolment periods:
- Preferential enrolment, for people who, in the past 12 months, have completed a course or have withdrawn from one.
- Open enrolment, for everyone.

Important information
- In each enrolment period, applications will be processed in order of receipt.
- Enrolment in a course closes when the maximum number of available places is filled.
- The student will receive the payment document once registered. Check the course fees. If If you are entitled to reduced course fees, you must show a valid form of evidence at the time of enrolment.
