Awareness-raising sessions for health professionals

• Description: the aim of these sessions is to reflect with health professionals on language behaviour related to the use of Catalan and to make these people aware of the importance of incorporating it into the healthcare environment, since it is often the professionals who determine a patient’s choice of language. Adaptation and language convergence improves empathy between the professional and the patient.

• Target audience: health professionals.

• Calendar: the calendar of the sessions is agreed between the organisation and the CPNL.

• Duration: flexible, up to 4 hours.

• Modality: face-to-face.

• Classroom: the organisation will provide appropriate space to carry out the session, with the corresponding permits and insurance coverage.
