Session on inclusive and non-sexist language

Through practical sessions, situations of discriminatory language in written and oral texts are analysed and resolved. In addition, some formulas are exemplified that could be useful to avoid the use of sexist and stereotyped forms. The sessions also serve to exchange opinions and discuss the capacity of language to change society and vice versa.

  • Target audience: staff in public or private organisations, and the general public who write texts in Catalan and want to learn how to use inclusive and non-sexist language. No previous level of Catalan is required.
  • Duration: up to 3 hours (face-to-face)
  • Modality: classroom and online.
