Reading is a key tool for communication: it helps students understand written texts and teaches them new words.
The methodological approach of the course is based on voice warm-up exercises, and group and individual reading practice.
The course is aimed at everyone who interacts with children outside the classroom, who has reached a certain level of spoken Catalan: basic level 3 or higher.
GENERAL OBJECTIVE OF THE COURSE
Students learn to read aloud as proficiently as possible and they read a text in public.
Students work on the intonation, speed, vocalisation, pronunciation and rhythm required for each text, and they learn to construct meaning from reading.
